The beachfront location features a beautiful, well-maintained stretch of white sand, perfect for those seeking tranquility. The variety of delicious Thai dishes offered at the on-site restaurants sticks out, especially considering the reasonable prices.
The room I stayed in had a weak shower that didn't drain well. Bathroom facilities felt a bit basic, lacking proper lighting and hand towels. The pool area was disappointing and not usable, with green water, and there was a noticeable presence of ants in the room. Swimming nearby isn't ideal due to coral and sea urchins, which could use clear signage for caution.

the venue was stunningly beautiful and nice, i loved the location close enough to island of koh kham, and the beaches elsewhere, and sea views.

I liked everything, great location, cool bungalows, clean sea!
No such thing.

The beach had plastic trash everywhere and the noise from the nearby bars was unbearable. Absolutely unacceptable for what I paid. Plus, the pool water looked like it hasn't been cleaned in ages, not what I expected. I almost thought of giving a good review, but just couldn't. I didn't even get an upgrade either.

Everything was very good from the staff to the room, comfy bed and large room. The restaurant was private for the food at the middle restaurant here, I had delicious dishes. The view of the sea it had was incredible. The location was nice and perfect in the particularly good area.

The setting is very pleasant and the deluxe bungalow very comfortable...beautiful beach but very shallow water especially at low tide so not that good for swimming but safe for young children. Staff were very friendly and helpful
Getting bitten by sand flies!

The location of the resort and our Svit Superior room was to die for! The stunning view outside our glassdoors and the amazing luxurious interior design both in- and outside the room felt like a dream. Our stay on Koh Mak Resort was worth every single baht. I dearly recommend this hotel. ps. I also recommend you to rent a motorbike to swim at one of many lonely beaches around the island.
We had some uninvited animals on visit in our room due to the djungle-shower but thanks to the staff and their kind service we did not need to worry about it. They do pestcontrol several times a week and when it comes down to it, a few bugs is worth the design and experience of the rainshower..

The location was good. Beach is ok even if it's in shade until 2 pm. 2 restaurants with nice food. Relax, calm and nice. Stayed for 8 nights - might be a little long...

Everything. The beach. The friendly staff. A quiet and relaxing vacation.
If anything, maybe the lack of activities due to the low season.

Family-friendly retreat
The staff were hospitable, especially that guy at the front desk who sorted our transport to the airport.
It wasn't exactly a bargain but still reasonable for what you get.

The koh mak was awesome during our anniversary celebration. We loved being just steps from the beach and enjoyed renting kayaks to explore nearby islands. The atmosphere was chill and the breakfasts were tasty, especially the pineapple dessert bar.
